Our farm
A small piece of Citrus County very near the Withlacoochee River. We raise purebred Irish Dexter cattle, have a few chickens and are setting up a small nursery. The cattle are being bred to the highest standard and are registered with the American Dexter Cattle Association and Purebred Dexter Cattle Association. Their offspring will be offered for sale to the public when available. We were fortunate to have a beautiful heifer calf from Pasty on 4/8/10 and a handsome bull calf from Sugar on 5/25/10. We are keeping his daughter and have bred back our girls, so our bull, Muddy River Ruadhan "Roo" is for sale. You can see more info on the "Our Dexters" and "Roo" pages.
The nursery will offer both flowers, vegetables and herbs. All plants are raised from both high quality composted manures and other vegatable matter. Our aim is to provide ourselves with good quality healthy produce and living along with the enjoyment of doing this. Life here is very calm and we enjoy the quiet of being just far enough away to have some of Nature's peacefulness, yet close enough to reach any of our other needs.
